Bodega Garzon Reserva Tannat 2018
Maldonado, Uruguay
Composition: 100% Tannat
Alcohol: 14.5%
$21.95
Full-bodied, juicy, and fresh, tannat is the iconic varietal of Uruguay. Cherry, strawberry, black plums, tobacco, and chocolate flavors. Aromas of plums and raspberries. Dark purple color
Slightly over the price point but less than the same grape grown in the South of France (Madiran region). Tannat has one of the highest levels of polyphenols giving it it’s color and potential health benefits due to high resveratrol levels.
